- The number of current reviews of your local listing is a key determinant in placement.
- As a practice, you need to request reviews from your customers in order to get them. Here is a stategy that will work for you:
- Send an initial email to your client database about a month after service asking them to write a review of your company on Google and provide them with the URL to your Google Local Business page. Obviously do this after your services are fulfilled and a suitable grieving period has passed. It’s always welcome and a sincere gesture to follow up with past customers and see how they are doing.
- Keep up a good relationship with satisfied customers and ask them if they would be willing to write a review. Let them know you are building up your online presence and if they can help and leave a few kind words. If so, get their email and let them know that you will be sending them an email with a link to write the review.
